The Brief

John Smeaton Community College has recently moved into their new premises and has decided that with a new building, a new website should be implemented. The new website was to be designed and developed to promote the new services and features of the school, the premises and to also signify that they are one of the leading schools in the Leeds area.

The new website was to encompass the latest technologies and website features to demonstrate that the school is at the top of technology and facilities.

The Solution and Special features

The solution that was developed superseded all expectations by John Smeaton Community College. The website design uses bold colours yet was very simple to use to entice the students and their families to use the website for information and resources.

The easy to use navigation along to top and the sub sections along the left hand side provide the perfect platform to find the information and resources that you need.

The simple use of JavaScript and flash animation set apart this website from any other schools in the area and show that this school is the top school in Leeds.

The inclusion of virtual tours outlines the technology that the school posses and promote the new venue that the school reside in. The new website demonstrates the “WOW” factor that the school has and along with a Full Content Management System allowing administrators the option to edit all content throughout the website, this website provides the perfect platform for their internet presence.
