Their mission is to integrate and enhance Water Play within Public and Private organizations to ensure children of all ages and abilities have access to Water Play

The Brief

Ustigate Waterplay required a new website separate from their main website to demonstrate and promote their products and services online. They didn’t have an internet presence and didn’t have a means in which they can promote the range of products on offer. The website was intended to provide this means and be a selling tool for the Ustigae Waterplay.

As well as the website being a selling tool, they wished to use the website as a marketing tool as well promoting the company and services. They wanted to generate leads through the website and become the market leader online for their products. Search Engine Optimisation was required throughout the project and also post production to ensure that the website reaches the top or the search engine listings.

The Solution and Special features

The design played a large part of the website as the design needed to be colourful and childlike but functional at the same time. They wished to get across the fact that the products were for children but at the same time still make the information for councils and clients attractive to read and interesting. This was achieved by simple effects like a "giggling" menu navigation, product scrollers, JavaScript sliding menus and an easy on the eye colour scheme.

Product sliders made it very user friendly allowing the users to easily navigate through the products, along with an AJAX map which was used to show the locations of the Waterplay sites around the country. The map was content managed allowing the administrator to simply log into the CMS and click on the map to change the location. The combination of the two makes the website very easy and effective to use.

A Content Management System was implemented to allow the client to control, add, edit and upload information, products and services to the website. This system was very easy to use and allows the client to maintain and update their website on a daily basis. This solution was exactly what they wanted and has proven to be an effective marketing tool.
